🎃 Halloween Safety Message from Dawley & Malinslee Safer Neighbourhood Team 🎃

Happy Halloween to all our residents!

As children and families prepare to enjoy trick-or-treating this evening, Dawley & Malinslee Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to remind everyone to celebrate safely and responsibly.

✅For Parents and Carers

Accompany younger children where possible.

Ensure costumes are visible in the dark by adding reflective materials or carrying torches.

Plan a safe route and remind children to stay together in groups.

Only visit homes that are clearly welcoming trick-or-treaters.

✅For Drivers

Expect increased numbers of children on foot, particularly between 5pm and 8pm.

Slow down in residential areas and be alert for children crossing roads unexpectedly.

✅For Residents

If you do not wish to receive trick-or-treaters, consider leaving your porch light off.

Please be respectful of your neighbours and report any anti-social behaviour to the police.

🎃 Halloween should be a fun and enjoyable event for everyone. We ask all residents to be considerate, look out for one another, and help keep our community safe.

If you witness anti-social behaviour or criminal activity, please report it via: 📞 101 (non-emergency) 🚨 999 in an emergency 💻 Online via West Mercia website.

Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween from all at Dawley & Malinslee Safer Neighbourhood Team.
